Media Agency - Website Content Management Services

Content Management Services is responsible for receiving pre-approved content from Domain Content Services & Streaming Services when content is ready for the market.

Regulatory Requirements

Their will be regulatory requirements provided by various agencies on how long content has to remain saved if the domain is no longer or active, or content is removed from their attached Content Server.

Security

The following are the security requirements.

Authorization

Security is provided by a Homeland Security Certificate domain to domain authorization between Content Services & Streaming Services.

Content Security

Its assumed all National Security, Content Profiling, NITS Security Policy checks have been completed where the approval results must be submitted.

Content Persistence

The content is persisted to the domain owners tenant, and blobs are sent to the domain owner's Content Server Provider where binary data is referenced in the database directory for the website owner.

Logging

Anytime content is transferred from domain to domain it must be logged with the SEC Media Agreement and all related meta-data, and the new and existing Content Server File references.

API Services will be available for the FCC Container Services, Website Owners, and SEC - Agreement Agency.

Services are provided to FCC Container Services to provide data for Certified Web Components.

Domain Owner's - API Services

API's are available for the domain owner's website after a web authorization.

SEC Agreement Agency - API Services

A domain to domain authorization allows the SEC - Agreement Agency API services to transfer content from website owner to website owner.

Content Management Media Console

The domain owner(s) web authorization process will provide them with a Content Media Management Management interface.

The link is provided the domain owner during the oAuth process for access.

By navigating to the link the domain owner can:

  • Browse, view, play content for their domain.
  • Copy NITS Content Types from one to another based on NITS Content Type transition rules, where the following must occur:
Why copy content from one type to another?

A citizen would have a subscription to a bands live music sessions.

After a live stream music session is completed and stored, they would copy it to a music video to allow citizens to view previous music videos with their subscription.

The musician could then provide a portal for domain owners with a .music-video-network domain suffix that allows them to purchase the content via an SEC Media Agreement where it's transferred to their music video network for enjoyment. 😄
